<p>I'm an international student who is being homeschooled with distance learning, the country I live in has no community colleges or anything similar to that, is it possible for you to give me some suggestions on getting recommendation letters for academic references? </p>

<p>Are there any teachers associated with your distance learning program that could write a letter of recommendation? Beyond that, think of unrelated adults who can speak to your character, work ethic, experience, skills or talents. That might be someone for whom you have worked or volunteered, or perhaps a tutor, a music teacher, a coach.</p>
<p>Colleges will understand that homeschoolers’ letters of recommendation sometimes come from non-traditional sources. Who do you know who has something to say about you that you’d like colleges know?</p>
