Thanks for taking the time to give me some suggestions.

I've already applied ED to my first choice school, St. Olaf, but I still need to apply to a few matches and perhaps a few slight reaches. I hope to major in biology, and would like to minor/have a concentration/double major/ in neuroscience. I'm from the south and I'm interested in LACs in the northeast and midwest.

Here's my info:

My ACT score is 28, and I will submit my Lit. SAT ll 780. I homeschool and have a home-GPA of 3.8. For half of my junior year and the whole of my senior year, I have attended a nearby university as a full-time student. My GPA at the university is a 4.0. I have also participated in an honors chemistry research lab program at the same university.

I have nice EC's. They are very particular; they match my personality and academic interests. For the sake of privacy, I won't list them here, but I have several years worth of community service and martial arts behind me.

My teacher reccommendations are great; they are from my professors at the university. I'm a strong writer, and I believe my essays reflect that.

I second Earlham. Hope would be a safe match and is excellent for the sciences. It’s reasonably generous with merit scholarships, though your ACT makes you a borderline applicant for them.

Take a look at Grinnell - outstanding sciences, no distribution requirements, lots of money for paid student research, and fantastic facilities.
