Hi everyone,

I am planning to take A.P. Physics next year, and I want to purchase a nice A.P. review book that I can use for a guide throughout the year. Are there any good suggestions for that? Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Bump........

Princeton Review is, I believe, the consensus choice for both Physics B and C.

I took C this year and didn't really use a review book. I found that using the textbooks worked best for me. We had one textbook for the class (Tipler) and I borrowed another from the teacher (Halliday & Rensick). Some of Dr. Walter Lewin's lectures from MIT's OCW also came in handy once in a while.

Thanks guys. Anyone else?

I already posted... but I probably should add something that probably speaks well of the Princeton book: I was kind of irresponsible, and ended up "self-studying" Physics C primarily in the lunch period between it and the morning bio test, using the Princeton Review study guide that I bought the night before. Strangely enough, I think that I got 5s on both sections - it does a really good job of condensing the material, which there's not that much of (especially for Physics C, which is far more concept and problem-solving oriented than memorization).

Last year, when I did Physics B, I bought the Cliff's guide, which was a huge mistake - that book is garbage. I also checked out the Barron's book from the library, and it was garbage as well.

Thanks. Any other suggestions?

how about for:
AP chem
AP calc AB
AP eng lit
AP spanish lang

go with Kaplan for chem...it worked really well for me

Bump........

I don't know about any of the others, but Princeton Review is very, very good for chem.

My recommendations:
* AP chem: PR, Barron's
* AP calc AB: Arco, PR, Barron's(practice tests)
* AP eng lit: Cliff's
* AP spanish lang: ?

Where's the best and cheapest place to order Barron's Math IIC book and the Princeton Review A.P. Physics Book? I couldn't find either of them at my local bookstore.

probably ebay or amazon used

Thanks! Anyone else?
