Best AP Physics C Prep Book

I'm taking AP Physics C next year, and I'm trying to find a good AP review book that I can buy at the beginning of the year. After searching Amazon and looking at books such as "5 Steps to a 5", Barron's and Princeton Review and reading reviews, it seems like none of the books are very good at Physics C (5 Steps is good at B, judging by the reviews).

Any of you who know a thing or two about the C exams or have taken it and scored well, what book would you recommend? I want to get it earlier in the year so I'm not stuck cramming come May 2011. Thanks for the help!

I recommend the book by James Mooney. It was very good. If you look through this you should be fine (except I thought the test sucked this year).

What’s a good review book for Chemistry to accompany me throughout the year? I have 5 steps to a 5 already.

Barrons is good if you want to understand explanations very clearly.

I suppose PR is good if you just want to know and regurgitate.

This is the best review thing i can think of, and its free and easy (watching youtube videos!)

But besides that, Princeton Review id say

For AP Chemistry, I would recommend Princeton’s. However, I also looked at Barron’s and if you want a VERY thorough book, that one may be the way to go (I didn’t like their multiple choice questions though). If you want to use it throughout the year, Barron’s might be the better choice just because it goes so much in depth. If you want one of those study books for about a week or two before the test, PR all the way.
