I've just recently turned into a senior at high school and am soon getting ready to start looking deeper into applying for colleges when I realized that I don't have any teachers that I can look forward to for help when getting recommendations. Throughout the years of high school, I stayed out of trouble, kept high grades, and did good on the SATs. But I never really socialized or talked to my teachers and we never got to know each other as teacher to student (had about 25-30ish teachers in the last 3 years.) What are my chances of getting into a decent college without recommendations from anyone at all, but with good grades and SATs scores and all?

I’m pretty sure you have to have recommendations of some sort, like from your counselor.

Lmao, get some recommendations bro it’s not that hard. Just go up to them and ask.

My previous counselor retired a year ago, and my new one kinda hates me a little.

Also, I do participate in after schoop activities and did have a few teachers in mind a while ago but it makes me feel like I’m taking advatage of people when I think of asking them for reccomendations, I don’t know why though.

Bumping…

Nah just if u ask someone and they look hesitant, DON’T LET THEM DO IT! Make sure the people you ask wouldnt mind writing about you!
