Hello! I have a quick question about the Common App teacher/recommender evaluation. I only need two "required" teacher reqs for most of the schools I'm applying to.

Am I allowed to invite more than two teachers for each school and assign them separately to the different schools? Like, could I invite three teachers and just not use one of them for a certain uni or something? I just want to be sure that if I invite a teacher, it doesn't take up a required spot unless I assign them. And they can still work on their evaluation even if they aren't assigned to a school yet? Does that make sense?

You invite all the teachers you want once. Although some schools expect 2, that might be their limit as well. It isn’t always the case - some schools have a limit of just 1, or as many as 4 or more. Then you assign and choose which of the recommendations go to whichever school on your list.

Yes, assuming your school does not use Naviance, the process of inviting recommenders is entirely separate from the process of assigning them. You can invite recommenders and assign them to every school where you apply or none at all. They will not be told through the common app process where you have assigned them. They can be invited by you and upload a recommendation for you before you assign them to a school.
