I am a freshman in college and it is first semester, I will more than likely have a 2.5-3.0 gpa for the semester, can I recover from something like this? I want to go to a t14 law school so I need to graduate with at least a 3.75 is this still possible?

Just do the math man lol.

3.75, possible? Absolutely.

Likely? Not even close especially if ~1/8 of your classes are going to be with an average grade of 2.5.

It’s November dude… you still have time to bring it up to a little above a 3.0 if you really work hard. Maybe a 2.9ish if you can’t do above a 3.0. After that, you need to really work hard to get it above a 3.5, but it shouldn’t be too hard. If you make a 3.0 this semester, and a 3.75+ the next two semesters, you’ll have a 3.5. Then you can keep raising it from there.

thank you guys for the advice

(4.0)(7/8) + (2.5)(1/8) = 3.8125
