im not sure if this is bad or not.. the two teachers that i want to ask for reccomendations are an english teacher and a latin teacher... my grades in all subjects are pretty much at the same level, but i feel those two teachers know me the best. is it worth it to ask a math teacher just so i dont have 2 humanities teachers or should i just go w/ the two that were my #1 and #2 choices? thanks in advance!

Well, some schools will tell you that they want recs from particular departments. If they don't, there's no hard and fast rule. It depends what you're majoring in, though. If you're applying to engineering school (for example) you might want to make one of those recs be from a science or math teacher.

These two teachers know you best, so they are your best options. Anyway, though they are both humanities, they are different subjects - English and Foreign Language. You should be fine unless, as beck86nj said, you are applying to a tech school.

yea i am deff more a humanities type.. thank you so much.. that was really stressing me out :)
