Red Cross Good For College?

<p>Hello!</p>

<p>I was wondering if volunteering with the Red Cross, being CPR certified, and being a Red Cross CPR instructor who teaches the community about emergencies, etc. would be notable in the college admissions process. I'm also the founder and president of a Red Cross club at our school.</p>

<p><em>disclaimer</em> I'm not involved in the Red Cross just for college as I am actually very passionate about helping people. I will continue to be involved in the Red Cross even if it is not helpful for college because it's just something I love. (So please don't say things like, oh you shouldn't be doing this just for college, etc.)</p>

<p>Any activity can be ‘good for college’ if you’re committed to it. It sounds like you are, so definitely list it in your app and maybe write your essay on how you got involved and why you do it. </p>
