Redundancies in Blue Book 1, Blue Book 2 and CB QAS's.

Hello all CC'ers.
I have compiled the list of any repeated tests, in order to let everyone know.

Systematic analyses. Here it is. (lol I am too serious here)

Prep Booklet BB#2 QAS (mm/yyyy)
2005-06 03/2005 (confirmed)
2006-07 10/2005 (confirmed)
2007-08 03/2005 (confirmed)
2008-09 10/2005 (confirmed)
2009-10 01/2006 (confirmed)
2010-11 05/2006 (my prediction)
#01 10/2006 (confirmed)
#02 01/2007 (confirmed)
#03 05/2007 (confirmed)

Blue Book 1st Edition seems to have unique tests, which do not coincide with neither the tests of Blue Book 2nd Edition nor the QAS's.

If you bought the Blue Book 2/E and have downloaded prep books, you already have some whopping 6 QAS's.

Hope this helped!

crap… the formatting…

I don’t understand what this is, your data is hard to interpret.

The Blue Book 1st edition did not contain any tests that were actually administered. The tests were built, at least in part, from various questions taken piecemeal from older SATs (late 90s - early 00s).

That’s not a bad prediction for the 2010-11 practice booklet.

ack… the blue book 2nd edition has 3 QASes? >_<

^^^

As I have said, in fact, there are formatting problems.
^^

I have the copies of 90’s and 2000’s test, so I should check any repeated question as well. Thank you.

Will the CB upload a repeated test? (i.e. same as last year’s test, or the test from two years ago)

^Yes. I have confirmed the fact that the first three tests in BB#2 are QAS’s from October 2006, January 2007 and May 2007 respectively.

Your data are correct so far, except:

No. The BB2 tests #4-10 are identical to BB1 tests #2-8.

What mean QAS and how can I get it?

^ They meant to say previously-administered tests. (actual SAT tests from the past)

Hm, this is interesting. Apparently, after downloading the 05-06 packet, I found out that it is the same test as one of the previously-administered tests on the official online course: test 6.
