Its my second or third choice I guess.
But beggars can’t be choosers as they say :P

^^And that is precisely why I like- ahem, love- Reed so much. In fact, I do the same thing. I can see both sides of an issue, but can argue only one of them.
Which is why when I was told by a teacher that I wasn’t decisive enough, my friends laughed at the sheer absurdity of me being any more stubborn than I already am…

^^ I can only ‘see’ and ‘argue’ an ‘issue’. I don’t usually take ‘sides’. I take viewpoints.
I dunno if it makes me un-Reedie, but I’m not too stubborn when logic demands something else…except perhaps in my habits.
Guess we just have different ways/reasons to love Reed :D

Blah re first sentence of last post. Didn’t you say physics =/= hairsplitting a few pages back?

Whats that got do do with flexibility? o.O
By viewpoints, I meant a combination of factors that are subject to be change any moment on the addition of new data/actions; and accepting the extent of truthfulness all sides and forming a consolidated opinion. By hair-splitting I meant-being stubborn about some irrelevant facts and not looking at the larger, more logical and purposeful picture.

Whoever meant, whatever, Reed FTW! :D

Oh boy! Let’s continue to spew various objects of questionable identity from our orifices (including, but not limited to, mouths)!

While listening to twee pop, of course. Delightful.

^^you know, gary, I’d respond to that, if I had any clue what we were arguing about…

Well, I didn’t mean Reed was foolishly stubborn and since we love to play reverse metonymy involving its applicants, none of us are foolishly stubborn either. Actually maybe we are. However, I think life is no fun if you don’t have individual beliefs and principles-not to say they have to veer from the ‘mainstream’, but there’s a reason we’re gifted with advanced cognitive functions and we should use them. I’m still pretty indecisive though, but maybe that just has to do with the littler stuff in life.

@CA- NO
@sush- nevermind

Well, why not?

Edit: Wee, look what I found: http://web.reed.edu/apply/accepted/

Oh, I do like Haikus. Oh, I do!

^^LATE!
NO coz you’re not a Dexter fan.

Hey anyone selected???

fznfire, Reed doesn’t notify applicants until the last week of March. You’ll get an e-mail somewhere around then about your decision, so there’s still a while to go.

Waiting is killing us.

Ruefully, here’s some oh-so-twee 80s Britpop to pass the time: [YouTube - The Primitives Crash](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkkx0FNJrk4&fmt=18)

Something more contemporary (and Reed-like in spirit) from Brooklyn: [YouTube - Emanuel And The Fear - Guatemala - Live on Fearless Music](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzK3NQbL9HU)

Haha, I love the diversity of the music. If mackinaw’s link was Olde Reed-esque, perhaps this how New Reed does things. [YouTube - Reed College: Why Do You Build Me Up?](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4b412kLzrw)

How our thou old droogies? Bezoomy me’s been having real horrorshow nochys with no internet- 4 days, real razraz.

Kubrick really loved russkiisms. Is there a larger lexicon of his usages? Clockwork Orange is definitely one of my favorite films.
