I got the e-mail yesterday, I am unbelievably excited. Reed was definitely something of a reach school for me, I am very lucky. I joined the facebook group as well :D

I dunno about posting stats, it seems so counter-Reedian. But then, they do make the world go 'round don't they? I'd like to think it was our quirky and curious nature that got us all in and not just that I got a good score on the ACT.

better idea: instead of statistics, why not profiles? they'll include GPA, and tests, but focus primarily on your essays (maybe post the first couple of sentences of each) and why YOU thought you got in.

thus, propsies will see they accept people with a wide range of grades and scores, but more importantly see how the successful applicants presented themselves as people.

what say ye?

anyway, I'm still riding the glow. what are you all doing to celebrate? is anyone worried about financial aid?

Aha, I just had my Reed interview today. Makes me excited about applying. You guys are so lucky! :D
