Reestablishing SAP standards

So, I started taking college courses when I was 19. I didn’t know what I was doing or had any aim for that matter. However, something stuck with me, " College was the place to be." But like I said, wasn’t focused.

Long story Short -

  1. 1st community college = 62 units attempted ( F’s and W’s - all of them) ~2010 - 2012
  2. 2nd community college = 43 unites attempted (F’s and W’s- except 1 C) ~ 2013 -2014
  3. 3rd community college = 19 units attempted ( 2.8 GPA) Fall 2015 - Spring 2016

Obviously I didn’t receive financial aid since 2010-2011.

I need aid when I transfer to a 4 year. If the aid is not there, I might as well stop now, no point of following dream of a Math Professor.

So my question is, How do I fix this problem?

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Also, I should state, I was homeless/garage living no family no job for 2009-2014. I have a stable place to stay and a part time job with low rent, thus, my grades improved. Can I use this as an extenuating circumstance?

You need to speak to someone in financial aid at your CC. They can help you get accustomed to the FA process for transfer to a university.

You want to become a math professor. You have a 2.8 GPA at your third community college. How are your math class grades? Is your goal realistic?
