I recently got a referral for talking in class (I’m not sure if it’s right to give students a referral just for doing that), and I was wondering if the colleges would see it on my record, and whether or not that would reduce my chances of getting into a good college. If the college does see the referral on my record, would they just excuse it because of the description, or will it really affect my chances of getting into college, just as much as fighting would? Overall, I’m a really focused student, and I’m currently in middle school. I have 4.0 GPA, and many extracurriculars. I always wanted to make it into a great college, but now that I have this referral, I’m not exactly sure if I will actually be able to make it into one. Please reply as soon as possible.
Getting a referral for talking in class will Not decrease your chance of admissions. You are in middle school. This won’t even show up since it’s not HS. Come back later in your life. Go run outside and enjoy life for now.
Do they even grade on a 4 point scale in middle school? It’s been so long I can’t recall.
