Regarding Tufts Acceptance/Rejection Letters

As I am an Early Decision I candidate, I was wondering how I will find out if I am accepted or rejected. I want to kill the element of surprise.

Will I, along with the other candidates, receive an email (like some colleges), or will it simply just be posted on the TAMS website where we can find out if we have been accepted or not?

And also, are there any technicalities with the admissions letter? For example, will we find out at a specific time, 12 AM the day we are to find out, or will the timing be random?

Is it likely that we will be finding out on a weekend, through TAMS?

Thanks.

I believe I found out my ED1 decision on Dec 13th at 12 pm. You will receive an email stating "We have finalized our decisions for candidates who applied for consideration under the first round of Early Decision and have mailed our decision letters. At this time, you may check your decision on the TAMS website"
The emails have always been sent out at 'round noon, though not sure if they'd send it out on a Saturday.
Regardless, you'll find out in but a week, so just sit tight! Best of luck!

Oh sounds like one hell of an email, the suspense will be horrible going from email to the TAMS website!

When did you apply early decision since you found out on December 13th?

This is going to be a crazy week!

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, last year decisions were available some time around 2:00 on the 15th.

Actually, on the 2012 Facebook group for Tufts -- they seem to have found out on the 14th around 3 PM.

Abkid91: I'm c/o 2010, so I applied during my 05/06 acad year. I think the class before me found out at 'round 12ish as well.

Actually, yeah, it was the 14th. I remember that it was a Friday.

I applied to Tufts ED too... the waiting is killing me.
I heard that a lot of people who get deferred end up getting in. Have you guys heard that too?
