<p>So I applied to Tufts ED (1), and I kind of hate how they say I'll get a response "mid-December" – it's freaking me out. This is sort of directed at last years applicants for early decision, because I was wondering around what day and time you guys found out. I.e. was it the (almost) exact middle of the month (the 15th) or was it whatever the Monday or Friday of that week was? Or is it just completely random? And as for time, was it like 12pm or more like 3? I know I sound really crazy and neurotic, but most of my other friends' colleges have exact dates, which gives them more of a chance to prepare.</p>

<p>@sab2015 For last year, it was on 16th (Monday) but the deadline had been extended by a week. We will get decisions by Monday next week.</p>
<p>I’ve been hearing that they usually release ED decisions on Fridays, and almost always earlier than the 15th (except for the special circumstances of last year). Fingers crossed for this Friday, but I’m freaking out.</p>
<p>I’m certain we will have them by Monday, the only question is whether or not they’ll have them ready for Friday</p>
<p>My son heard on Monday the 16th last year in the afternoon, probably about 3 p.m. I was on College Confidential at that time and the kids began posting their results. (my son “surprised” us in the evening so i don’t know exactly when he heard.) But I don’t think last year’s deadline delay resulted in a a notice delay. Obsessive as well, I looked back over Tufts blogs from prior years to find when the Dean posted his entry about admissions results, and it was consistent with the 15th, 16th, etc. They do seem to post in the afternoon after school lets out, and a couple of the Ivies notified a couple days before Tufts. Good luck to all of you. You’re this good now, you’ll be great regardless of where you attend. As remote as it sounds, it really matters what you do when you get out. </p>
