Regents Scores

piccolojunior: I took Physics B, which is basically a harder version of the Regents material, so that makes more sense. The Regents also counted as a final for that class, so we had to take it no matter how well we did.

wendyling: Only reason I study for Regents is because they count as a final for my classes. (And for the Global/US Regents the teacher buys dinner at a fancy restaurant for the kids who get 100s :))

Dinner? LOL I got nothing for Global and all I get in US is a pizza lunch...

Oh, and wendyling, I don't think I have studied for a regents since 8th grade (Math A/Earth Science, back when I hadn't discovered the way to superstudy)...if you're a good test taker that should be enough for you to reason your way to a 95+

Regents suck i took 2...living environment and MATH A

now im at vincent smith school aka VSSUX

were all stupid and or "special" in some sorta way...

most of my grade is special meaning they either have a LD/ADD/Anger problems but r fairly smart...except one whos the first ever at my school to have a 4.0

soooo we dont take regents

Global History: 100
Spanish: 91
Math A: 86
Earth Science: 80
Living Environment: 73 (don't know how that happened...)

91 in physics oh yesss =]

i believe sophie davis asks for regents exam scores. thats a cuny medical program.

doing well on regents exams is just self-satisfaction, i think.

I get my scores tomorrow! I'm quite anxious.

Also, some of my teachers refuse to write you a recommendation if your regents score isn't good enough...most of a time they'll write you one if it's 85+

Living Enviroment: 92
Math A: 87 idk what happened
Math B: 94
US History: 98
English: 97
Chemistry: 90ish, but I don't know my exact score yet

Do you guys have to take Earth Science? I was forced to take it before biology. It was so pointless.

Just got my scores in today:

physics- 91
spanish- 94
english- 98
us history- 99

woo. disappointed in physics and spanish though!

justin, my school does not require you to take earth science, but rather, we get an option in junior year to take either that or physics.

I took it non-regents in 5th grade and then went to regents bio, so I never took the regents in ES.

I am so happy I'm done!

My scores aren't so good in compare with yours but I did pass all my regents and got 1 mastery.

Here are all of mine:

Math A - 89*
Math B - 97*
Global History - 98
Biology - 91
Chemistry - 88
US History - 99
English - 94*
Latin - 97

The starred grades were the ones that counted for nothing.

Hooray worthless Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors!

at my school you needed to score a 90+ on at least 8 exams to get an advanced regents diploma with honors designation

At my school I think you just have to have an average of 90. Shouldn't something like that be standard across the state?

probably not when it comes to receiving the 'honors' status...but that really doesn't matter much for anything.

I just finished 8th Grade and have only taken one regents:

Earth Science-97%

It was mad easy and the easiest test I took in my whole life and I got a 97%

I've taken 4 so far but have only gotten 2 scores back.
Bio: 96
Math A:93

I just got my 4th report card and here are my regents scores:
Biology: 96
French: 98
Earth Science: 90 (I was expecting to do better but there was this one girl behind me who was coughing like a gorilla the entire time and it was distracting)
Math A: 93
