Does anyone know the regional admissions officer for Miami Florida area? If so can you provide email address?

You can just email the Brown admissions office and they’ll reply back fairly quickly.

I was waitlisted and I sent a letter to the admissions office stating why I would attend and my recent achievements. Do you think that I should send a similar email to the regional officer?

Hmm, I don’t know. I think it’s better to email your regional officer because that person was in charge of your application and will know more about you. So yeah, I guess you should send that email again.

Just send it to the admissions office email address, which can be found on the Brown website. You can also fax the letter to the admissions office if you choose. But if you’ve already submitted your letter, I promise you that it’s either on its way to your file (which your admissions rep will have) or is already there, safely.

If what AmbitiousMind07 said is correct then I should email my representative another letter. I’m just worried about bothering the admissions person so much. I know that they are easily annoyed and writing a similar letter to the one she/he supposably already has might provoke this reaction.

Wait, did you already send Brown a letter? If so, they have it–no need to send the same letter twice. But if you have a different letter you’d like to send, attach it to and email addressed to the admissions OFFICE and/or fax it.

Mercedes Domenech is the regional admissions officer in charge of Miami. Elizabeth Hart covers the remainder of Florida. Waitlist committee meetings have already begun. Good luck.

Is it considered annoying if I call Ms. Domenech? I called my local admissions officer of another school I am waitlisted to and she really enjoyed to hear about my interest in the school?
