Registrar Report Hard Copy Problem?

Hi all,

So I talked to the registrar department at my school today to fill out my registrar report and I ran into a little bit of trouble. I was told that they were unwilling to upload the necessary transcript to my online registrar report because they use a 3rd party system and thus "it would be unofficial if they uploaded a copy of it." They instead want me to sent in my transcript by mail or email and appear that they will not budge on this (many students have come to this about them). If I were to do this, would I download the registrar report offline form, give it to the registrar office and then send it and my transcript to each individual school? I don't know if anyone else is running into this problem but I am very nervous about this because I'm worried it won't allow me to submit my application when the time comes because I won't have completed the online registrar report which appears to be necessary to complete the application. Thanks!

I have a similar problem. I don’t know if it’s possible to submit the Registrar Report online and send the transcripts by mail.

My guess is that not all colleges have the ability to send the Registrar report and/or transcripts electronically. This is the first year the CA is letting colleges upload information, before it was totally by hard copy.

I’d have a hard time believing that the CA wouldn’t let you submit your application because you haven’t uploaded all supporting forms as there are always exceptions (home schooled, out of US, etc.); but then again it is the CA, so anything is possible
