Registrar Report - So Lost...

I get the part where I have to "invite" someone to fill it out, but whom should I invite? My academic advisor? An actual registrar? My dean?

Should they also be able to fill it out online, or do I have to print it out and give it to them? I heard that they can upload my transcript on the report, but do I have to order a transcript before they can upload it? Also, this report seems to worry me; neither my dean nor registrar nor my advisor know me (my advisor is brand new, and frankly it's not as though I drop by the registrar's or dean's office to chat).

Should whomever I talk to even know what to do once they get this report? My school has many students transfer out each year, but I'm afraid that no one will know what to do and I'll be stuck in a wild goose chase just trying to have this one form filled out properly. Thanks!

Go to the registrar. They’ll tell you where to take it to get it signed off if they won’t – was ‘student affairs’ for me. They just sign off that you’re in good academic standing and haven’t had any misbehavior while on campus. Bring stamped, pre-addressed envelopes, w/a printed copy of the form for each school that’s asking for it for the person to fill out.

So it HAS to be printed out? Cuz in a past thread I heard it could be done online (and it would save me a TON of money and time).

It depends on your school if it will be filled in online or printed out. At my school they opted to have it printed out (Something about the privacy of transcripts i think).

Printing it out was pretty easy, just hand it in, they fill it out, and then mail it.

I just saw on the CA website that the Registrar Report is listed as “offline,” so how would the school fill it out online if other past threads claimed it’s possible to do so online? Does the registrar/dean get a link to upload things online when you invite and assign them?

online is for HS kids…print it out, it’s what 46 cents per stamp plus a sheet of paper and envelopes…you’re overcomplicating this part of the process
