D2’s flier for Bama Bound says you must pay your freshman deposit and “make arrangements for fall housing” before registering for Bama Bound. We’ve paid the freshman deposit and the housing deposit but what do they mean exactly by making arrangements for fall housing. D2’s window for room choice is not until March. Do they mean you have to have everything settled about your housing arrangements, or just have to have paid that housing deposit? D2 would like to jump on one of those early BB dates–probably May 27-28 if possible. Thanks.

I think it just means the housing deposit, as my D registered for BB last week & she can’t pick her room till mid March. But she had paid the housing deposit already.

My D is also going to the May 27-28th BB as am I; it remains to be seen (due to softball playoffs) if DH & D2 will also attend.

I think that the wording of the letter was meant to include those local students who will be getting exemptions form living on campus. If a student has payed the enrollment deposit and wither their housing deposit or submitted and qualified for an exemption, they should be able to register for Bama Bound.
