"registration for Spring Receptions" for RD?

Hmmmmmm. soooo stoked about S getting into delware that I'm playing around on Syracuse. Might me wishful thinking but Under "future students" I pressed "register for Spring Accepted Students reception and a form came up with his name?????

It's all too exciting, gonna blow! ANyone have this?

nope, not at all.

i think it comes up with that becuase you have to put in your SUID number…i did the same? unless im doing it wrong!

Good point soccer. Lord knows we’ve seen gross web admission errors/foibles before, but it says this:

Admitted students are invited to attend Spring Receptions during the month of April. They are scheduled for April 4, 8, 15, 18, and 25. Spring Receptions allow you to discover the exciting traditions and history that make Syracuse University a special place to spend your college years.

Spring Reception Information (with Link)
You input SU Id and your info comes up

i hope youre right though…im sick of waiting…i just want to know!

I can do register too, but going to admissions and then accepted students and then accepted students events seems like a convoluted way to confirm admissions. I really wouldn’t take it as a sign

For example, if you click on the multicultural spring accepted students event it doesnt even ask for your suid, so i doubt these events are indicative of anything

I can do it do my name comes up but I think it’s meaningless.

registration went through and they sent an email to the address he had on application with a link to that “accepted students Page”

i did try this too. I don’t think it means much because even if your name appears your school/ department affiliation does not - they ask you what program you’ve been admitted to. I guess we have to wait till next Friday.

I think it is meaningless that we can all get into this section. Putting in your id is what links the page to all your info. This is nothing more than poor website design and they are not alone. This happened on another school site and my D was postponed for that school at the time.
