Regular admission

I remember reading that GWU accepts 900 ED applications from ED1 and ED2, how many spots does this leave open for one applying RD? Does all become much more competitive?

According to this article: [Admissions steady in rocky times - News](http://media.www.gwhatchet.com/media/storage/paper332/news/2009/04/02/News/Admissions.Steady.In.Rocky.Times-3694049.shtml)

6,200 regular admitted apps from last year. Now I’ve read that the class of 2013 was too large so that number may go down.

Oh wow, but I thought the school only admitts about 2600 with ideal around 3000.

not sure what you mean. 6,200 is out of about 18000 apps. They expect to try to have a class around 1900, so I guess they figure 1 in 6 kids accepts admission. (take out 900 EDers)
