My friend is taking the Math 2C, bio, and history sat 2s in may. The june regular deadline is today, and he doesnt know wat to sign up for. If he signs up to retake bio and history for example, he wont be able to retake math2c if he did bad on 2c. IF he signs up for all 3 again however, he wont be able to cancel any tests for june that he did well on in may without cancelling all of them. And perhaps he wants to take the SAT 1 again, then wat to do? I don't understand why collegeboard puts the deadlines BEFORE you receive your scores. It doesnt make any sense besides the fact that they want more money. any help would be appreciated.

He'll have the scores before the June test. I think you can change what SAT IIs you take on the day of the test- i.e.you can show up and take whatever ones you want.

He should sign up for 3. You DON'T have to take all the tests you sign up for. If you DO take a test and then cancel it, you have to cancel all your scores, but if you sign up for 3 and only take 1 or 2, you're fine. You just lose your money for the test(s) you didn't take.

Actually, he could also sign up for 2 tests and then take 3 when he gets there...The College Board will just bill him for the extra test...

I agree with the annoyance of the deadlines before scores, but the CB is on a fairly tight schedule. Regrettable, but probably necessary.
