<p>Has any RD applicant out there gotten his or her Albert ID yet?
I haven't received any email from NYU since I applied in 12/31/12.</p>

<p>Yes, the Albert ID came about 3days after applied on common app.</p>
<p>Yes I’m sorry to say this but acquiring an albert id should be the least of your worries. I figured everyone received theirs already considering everyone I know got them so early. I recommend you contact admissions as soon as possible and find out what is going on.</p>
<p>That is so weird… I was patiently waiting for them to send me one because I didn’t want to bother them by urging. I actually emailed one of the counselors 5 days ago but no response. I just emailed her once again, and I tried calling them but office is closed lol. I guess I ll call them tomorrow early in the morning…</p>

<p>I called the admission 2 days ago and they told me to email my problem to <a href=“mailto:admissions.ops@nyu.edu”>admissions.ops@nyu.edu</a> but I still haven’t gotten any response yet. </p>
<p>Anyone out there has a similar situation as me? And what do you guys think this problem indictates?</p>
<p>My daughter did have this same issue. She emailed her admissions counselor and received her Albert ID the next day. The counselor did say that others were experiencing this problem. I don’t think it indicates anything other than your admissions counselor isn’t quick to respond!</p>

<p>It has been 2 weeks since I sent the email to my NYU counselor regarding my albert ID, and it has been a week since I sent the email to <a href=“mailto:admissions.ops@nyu.edu”>admissions.ops@nyu.edu</a>. I’m still getting no response from them.</p>
<p>Is this natural? Why are they taking so long to respond? I’m getting more anxious as days go by. Please help!</p>
<p>Make sure you haven’t received the ID in another email account or in spam. If you have checked everywhere and still have nothing, I would email your admissions counselor again. I wouldn’t be worried about the ID, but you really should get confirmation that they have received all of your information. Good Luck!</p>

<p>I asked for my Albert ID through email at least 4 times, and i finally got this email 2 weeks ago. </p>
<p>“Please be aware that your application file is complete and ready to be reviewed. I have updated your Albert account to reflect this. Should we need any additional materials or documents, we will contact you. Best of luck and take care.”</p>
<p>I replied right away saying, “could I get the actual ID number or NetID to access the status?” → Never got the reply back.</p>
<p>So I emailed them again yesterday, asking for my ID ONE MORE TIME…</p>
<p>I know I shouldn’t be bothering them too much, but I waited enough… :’( </p>
<p>I don’t know what to do at this point…</p>
<p>I would try calling at this point, should be easier to get a proper response over the phone.</p>
