I read somewhere that Rollins will release your admissions decision as soon as they make a decision. Their website says that they'll notify you April 1. Which one is true?

I guess they mean they’ll notify you by April 1st. I got my acceptance letter last week.

Did you apply regular decision?

Yep .

Okay, thanks. Can’t wait to hear back!

Good luck, dude! Sadly, my dad’s probably not gonna let me attend here since the cost is way too high. I got the Presidential Scholarship, but it’s not enough. Wish I could find some other way to pay except through loans…

That’s awesome that you got the Presidential Scholarship, hope everything works out well. May I ask when you applied? Did you send your mid-year grades?

Thanks. I applied around Thanksgiving and nah, I think you only have to send your first semester grades if you submit during the second semester. I’ll be sending the final grades at the end of the year.

Then maybe I’ll be waiting a little while, I applied last week.

I called the admissions office a couple days ago and the person on the phone said some decisions will be released before April 1st but there is no way to know. I finished my application around the end of October.

And you still haven’t heard back?

I still haven’t heard anything. I’m hoping to hear soon, I want to make my decision as fast as possible and I don’t think it should take 6 months to get a decision but hey, nothing I can do about it.

Okay, thanks.

The website said April 1st but I got a decision and a scholarship last Monday… I submitted my application in the beginning of December (scores took and fee took a while to be processed though)

^ sorry for the grammar haha, *scores and application fee took a while to be processed

Daughter applied a month ago. Nothing yet. Now, the website mysteriously says that her name and R number don’t match any applicants, even though it worked before. Weird. At this point, she has been accepted to UF and New College and will probably be attending one of them, but she’d consider Rollins if there was (quite a bit of) money involved. Wonder when we’ll hear. If it’s April, that’s not happening.

Anyone hearing anything from them lately for RD?

Daughter applied mid-January, and there is a big envelope in our mailbox today.
