Does anyone know when Dickinson will be releasing admissions decisions for regular decision applicants?

They just tweeted that RD decisions will be out by Friday.

Dickinson just tweeted that the RD decisions have been released to the online portal. Good luck to this year’s applicants.

Woo hoo I got in :)

My son got in! So happy for him!

My son got in too! Got the result on portal. He texted us the screenshot of acceptance letter.

He absolutely loves this school but was not sure that he will be accepted. Especially after the interview.

He is so happy that he is going to his first choice. Years of hard work on his part. He is a good hard working kid with a very independent personality, who sacrificed a lot. He did it against all odds. As parents we are very proud of him. Tears in our eyes as both of us are at work and he is at school.

His stats are
GPA : 3.4. One honors in junior year and 2 APs in senior year. Upward trajectory.
SAT: 1960 super score two attempts.
ACT: 29 same score two attempts.
School: Public

A very good essay.

ECs: 1. Varsity Lacrosse player for 4 years, who decided not to pursue Lacrosse in college thru NCAA. As parents we still have no idea - why. To this day he has given no explanation. His coaches at school and summer league are also equally surprised. One day in early junior year he just came home and said ‘I want to go to college on the basis of academics’. That is when odds were stacked against him. He still played lacrosse near the end of junior year (along with all the SATs/ ACTs and final exams ) and had a great season as an attack-man. He will have great season again starting NOW!
2. 200+ volunteer service hours.
3. Model UN.

He has 3 other acceptances and is waiting for 5 more decisions.

But according to him it all stops today. He has decided to enroll at Dickinson and we will send the deposit. I wish good luck to all you other kids. May your dreams come true as well.
