Do you believe in the idea of reincarnation? If not, what do you think happens after death?

I'm Hindu so yep I do. I think your soul leaves your body after you die and attaches to another body, whether it be animal or human etc. Also, I think your past sins taint your soul and your good deeds purify it before it reaches its next abode. Thus, your future lives' grandeur are reflected upon your past lives.

rofl

.

GeorgeS: You should pay more respect to the beliefs of others.

I personally do believe in reincarnation (I believe some of the things in Bhuddism), and according to Bhuddists (I think this is correct, if there are any Bhuddists out there reading this and I butcher something... sorry!), every time a human is created a soul of another deceased (human or animal) takes residence in the new body.

=] I'm a Buddhist and Confucist (However you spell it). x] That's true Manonfire. You forgot to mention one thing. It depends on what you do in the past. But when you are reborn you could be the opposite sex. Ha ha which I think is kind of true. x]]] Don't ask me to prove it. :P I think in my past life, I was a male. W00t a warrior! xP

Hey! I follow confucism! :P

=] OMG! X] We should be friends! =]]]]]]] [pokes College] :P How come you never IM me?

I don't believe in reincarnation... I am too bound by science. The idea of my soul or essence leaving me, splitting in two like some Harry-Potter-6-esque Horcrux, rematerializing in some guy's sperm and another chick's egg, and then recombining for rebirth just seems a little much. Or do souls rematerialize as whole entities in the sperm, and the eggs are just soulless providers for reproduction? Or is the the other way around?

I just don't see how it would work :/ Maybe it's like a soul queue and your soul only goes to the reborn body after the sperm and egg fuse. Who knows.

I believed in Science more than .....Catholicism and Christianity. o.o I don't think the Earth was created in 7 days. The only two human beings were Adam and Eve. o__O;;; For some reasons the bible is kind of like full of incests. x.x;;;;; Please don't yell at me!

haha im hindu..but the reincarnation thing sounds to absurd to be believable

I was told by a psychic that I'm a reincarnated Native American. I told my mom that, who jokingly said, "Did you have your hair in a braid?" (Long hair that is often in a braid down my back.) Nope.

As for my personal beliefs - even though I'm an engineer, I would not be surprised if reincarnation does happen.

Oooohhhh I should go see psychic. x] Thanks for the idea ariesathena!

LOL, you're welcome. Make sure to get a good one - it's worth it much more than the cheesy ones.

=] Okay I will! =[ It's going to be tough finding one.

reincarnation is bull. just my opinion. everyone is tested for their sins. life is a test. fail = hell. pass = heaven. do well and pass. no premarital sex kids. lol

****, I'm going to hell.

I believe whole heartedly in reincarnation. In fact, I cannot imagine only having only one chance at life. If we are all equal under God, why is it that some people are born into prosperous, loving families while others suffer every day of their lives? Without the concept of karma and reincarnation, how can God have any justice then?

Karma is the only explanation I've ever heard that fully accounts for this stark disparity, while still allowing for free will.

Perhaps we are all tested differently - might not be "fair," but it might be effectual. Some are tested through poverty; some through emotional turmoil; some through violence; some through their ability to have everything and be compassionate towards those who do not.

(Not saying I don't believe in karma - I just don't think it's the only explanation for why some of us have so much and are so very fortunate while others do not.)

Reincarnation is bull? Ha ha I think going to mass every sunday is bull, no offense to people who goes to mass every sunday. It just doesn't make sense to me. I mean "God is everywhere." >>;; x] Why can't you pray is your room? Or in "anywhere?" >_<;

LOL Man on Fire, you're going to hell. x] I'm going to hell too! >] Even my friend told me I was going to hell for believing God,Jesus, Mary, and Budha, >>; any other Asian gods + goddesses. :/
