Rejected ED last year...Chances for Transfer?

<p>I am currently a Freshman at William & Mary and I might be looking into transferring depending on how things go next semester. I applied Early Decision to CMC last year and was rejected. Do I have a chance?</p>

<p>You're clearly accomplished. Best of luck. I think if you keep your grades up and demonstrate why CMC's the right place (personality, career aspirations, etc.) for you, then you've made the best case possible for their admissions officers.</p>

<p>Why is W&M not the right place for you? And bottom line, what would you contribute to CMC? I will note that I see a number of transfer spots go to athletes.</p>

<p>I called the CMC admission office. They told me that it is true that a number of transfer spots go to athletes, but that that is only about 15-20% of the total number of transfers they admit. In other words, 80-85% of the transfers are not athletes.</p>

<p>Pretty nice stats, wonder why you got rejected for ED...</p>
