I’m sorry to hear about your rejection but it is nice to see you moving on. As of now, Boston University is your best bet. I would even go as far as to say in the Reach to High Safety range. UPenn & Cornell are your highest challenges. Your ECs aren’t superb but your SAT is pretty nice (maybe not to other people on CC). Good luck with everything!! Chance me back!! My thread is “Wheel of Chance”

I apologize. With regards to BU, I meant Match to High Safety range.

its a new year, how about some more chances? haha

also applied to Tulane and Drexel-chances for those two school? majors are both biomedical engineering

You should have a very good chance at Tulane and Drexel, especially the latter. Tulane BME is very good, btw. For your other schools. I think UPenn, Cornell, Northwestern and Duke are less likely. WUSTL also a longer shot, they are very stats oriented and I think you might fall just a bit short for them. But of course it depends on what their applicant pool looks like this year as well, you could easily get wait listed. CMU is tough because of your major, very competitive for admissions at CMU. The rest I think you have a decent shot, should get in for sure at SUNY-SB.

SUNY Stony Brook- Intended Major: Biomedical Engineering-
Match
Cornell University- Intended Major: Biology-mid reach
Rice University - Intended Major: Bioengineering-mid reach
Northwestern University- Intended Major: Biomedical Engineering-mid reach
University of Pennsylvania- Intended Major: Biology-high reach
Wesleyan University- Intended Major: Molecular Biology + Biochemistry-low reach/high match
Washington University in St. Louis- Intended Major- Biomedical Engineering-mid reach
Boston University- Intended Major: Biomedical Engineering -match
Duke University- Intended Major: Biology-mid reach
Carnegie Mellon- Intended Major: Biology-mid reach
Emory University-Intended Major: Biology-low reach
Drexel - match
Tulane- match

Goodluck can you please chance me back

thanks for the chances, anybody else?
i also threw in University of Vermont-bio (in case you were wondering the last 3 tulane, drexel, and UVM gave me fee wavers or something so why not)

2100 asian…hmm…

Yes

Washington University in St. Louis- Match/Reach
Boston University- Intended Major: Match

Carnegie Mellon- Match/Reach
Emory University- Match

Hope you get into all of them, please Chance me!

if spending 2-3 hours a day on football and track and then still doing mock trial is weak then the system is messed up.

they aren’t weak they just aren’t unique…

pretty much going with other people. reaches at the most selective ones like wesleyan and ivies, duke

…bumppity do

bump bump bump

kidPenn, Itsjay,

why are you saying Northwestern is a match to a 2100 SAT and A- GPA? absolutely not. NU is as hard to get into as Cornell and only slightly harder than Penn. It would be a match to a 2250 SAT and solid A in tough courses.

You and i have similar stats
SUNY Stony Brook- Match
Cornell University- Reach
Rice University - Low Reach/Reach
Northwestern University- Low Reach/Reach
University of Pennsylvania- High Reach
Wesleyan University- not familiar with the school
Washington University in St. Louis- Pretty good chance. High Match
Boston University- Match
Duke University- Reach
Carnegie Mellon- Low Reach
Emory University- Match.

You should apply to Tulane. They’ll give you scholarship AND they have great biomedical engineering program
