I am so emotionless right now...I'm not even crying or screaming with anger, surprisingly. I wanted to go to Berkeley since 8th grade...but I cried with joy when I got accepted to UCLA, but I'm just sitting here ever so calmly after finding out that I got rejected from Berkeley. I guess God's will for me is to go to UCLA, and I guess I've finally accepted it.

Anyway, who's going to UCLA and got rejected from Berkeley? Let's study hard and make Berkeley regret rejecting us.

There are some other factors, the major of which being financial aid. UCLA's gonna give me more money, a nice guaranteed dorm. Plus, I used to live in Santa Monica, and I love the area.

haha, this thread is funny because it makes ucla sound like a back-up for cal. i think a lot of ucla kids would have an aneurysm if they heard that. (even though i personally think cal >> la, since EVERYONE in my year who is at la got rejected from cal, no joke.)

the admissions process for UCLA and cal was soooo weird this year. so my friends both just rejected from UCLA (1800/1900 sats for both, some extracurricular but not grade, and good essays i think) but got accepted at Berkeley.

I got into UCLA and rejected from Cal, but although I would love to go to UCLA, the cost is too much. I'm out of state and they gave me 17,594 with the PELL grant, but I've gotten a full ride else where. Plus, I would be locked into bioengineering at UCLA when I'm not sure what I want to do. =/
