<p>This is totally random but I don’t think you need much AC if you go to Cornell. I don’t think it’s really common for places to have AC up there. People latch onto the weirdest things in college decisions sometimes. Like deciding whether to go somewhere after eating in a dining hall or not liking it when you see students wearing shirts with other colleges.</p>
<p>Hey, I, too, thought the lack of AC in Cornell dorms was a weird complaint, but just wanted to pass it along…</p>
<p>My daughter is just finishing up her freshman year at UNC with no AC. Now that is much more of an issue than no AC at Cornell!. It isn’t really too bad except for the 2-3 weeks at each end of the school year.</p>
<p>Just as a side note to this, all of the residence halls at UNC will have air conditioning starting next year. I think Craige and Eringhaus were the last hold outs, and they will be getting it this summer.</p>
