I’m sorry for the news… but don’t give up, I’ve heard of many people transferring in after one year. In fact, yesterday I met a UCLA film school student who transferred into the film school after one year… and you know how much more competitive UCLA film school is… don’t give up !!</p>
<p>Online status changed to Decision Mailed on 2/14 and on 2/16 we received rejection letter.
:(</p>

GPA 3.50
ACT 26
Extracurricular: 3 years H.S basketball, 2 years coaching youth league, 5 years competitive polynesian dance
Excellent letters of rec. One letter came from a faculty member of the Dodge college, and one letter came from academic teacher. Excellent counselor rec. letter.
Admission film: good on concept but execution could have been better since I only had 1 year filming experience.</p>

<p>Sorry, dude that’s tough. I was rejected by a school I was interested in this year too. It hurts, but brush it off. You’re awesome and another school is gonna show that :)</p>
