Rejection sent via FedEx?

That's some nice sleuthing work you did there, sanjenferrer. I might just have to follow your lead when it's time for my decisions to start coming out. Congratulations! Northwestern's a great school. What a lovely surprise for the holidays!

you've made me feel so much better about the Fed Ex letter, I called my mom and she kept going on about how the evenlope could weigh that much in whatever Fed Ex puts in it. But apparently half a pound is somewhat bigger and highly unlikely a rejection letter. I just can't wait to Monday when I can actually be excited.

Same here, sungashick! I'm 99.999% sure though.

Thanks everyone! It was also the best birthday present ever (turned 20 this past Thursday)!

Last year at least one of the schools Mathson applied to sent acceptances out priority mail and rejections regular mail. Not much fun for those of us on CC reading about all the acceptances...

I could just imagine...

Wouldn't it be cruel of Northwestern to send rejections using the Standard FedEx envelope?
I mean, if you get this (which is what I'm told Northwestern used):
FedEx - Tools - Packaging Envelope
that will just be misleading!

I'm pretty sure it's an acceptance :)

Happy birthday! Sounds like you got some wonderful "presents" this year. :)

Thanks, Northstarmom! I did indeed.

ACCEPTED TO NORTHWESTERN! I have the packet in my hands. Not yet the financial aid though. I'M SUPER DUPER EXCITED!

Yay!!! I love happy endings.

Oh good sanjenferrer! I was reading this thread, and it was making me feel terribly anxious. So glad to hear it was what you were hoping for. Congratulations.

Happy Birthday and super congrats!!

Hi sanjenferrer,

Just checking in to see how the story ends...
Congrats on Northwestern and Happy Birthday.

let us know when you make a final decision.

Congratulations and happy birthday!!! How weird to get it FedEx!

I was also checking to make sure that we were all correct! YAY! congrats!!!!

If you told me in the beginning of the semester that I would end up at one of these schools, I would not have believed you. And the good news is still sinking in. I wake up every morning thinking "Omg, I'm not dreaming!" Thanks everyone.

Sanjenferrer,
Congratulations on all your acceptances and Happy Birthday! Good luck with your decision.
