Well since everyone is apparently getting accepted and I haven't gotten an email I'm assuming Pepperdine is saving the rejections for later. Anyone else in the same boat?

me, unfortunately. there is still hope for us though

i dont know if this has anything to do with it or if im just making excuses for myself but my wavenet was just updated to ‘complete’ in the beginning of march even though pepperdine had all of my stuff the week of december 15th so maybe they’re going by when they had your app completed idk? im just feeling really bummed right now

Me too. I really hate looking at my empty inbox knowing so many other people have been accepted. This was like my ticket out of hel and now im still stuck here for another four years :-(

Hey guys, it’s not April 1st yet. I think must of us were taken by surprise that accpetanace went out today, but I would say it isn’t over until after April 1st. Keep the faith and best wishes in getting accepted!

eyebeg, I hope you’re right. Mine didn’t go complete until the beginning of March either and I applied during the extension. I really hpe you’re right

As far as I know Pepperdine sending early notifications is rare. Just be sure to check your status on wavenet because if you mistakenly don’t get the email - the status will update to Admitted, Deferred, etc (once the decision has been POSTED of course).

I haven’t gotten an email yet and mine didn’t go complete until the beginning of March either!!!but I knew I wouldn’t get it b4 April 1 coz Pepperdine had sent me that email:

“Your application for admission to Seaver College of Pepperdine University is complete and ready to be reviewed by the Admission Committee. Your decision will be sent to you by e-mail on April 1st.” (without “or before”)so that might explain why I havent gotten it yet. You should check that email and see the date. Good luck!

Ya mine says the same, but didn’t everyones say that? IDK just curious. I hope they send them out before April first if that is the case those or this next week or two is going to be aweful! lol I asked on the accpetance threads and they replied that they went complete around late November early December. Does Pepperdine have a priority application date?

nope, most of us got that with “or before”.
and Pepperdine doesn’t have that kind of deadline.

My son receive the “on April 1st” email but got his accpectance yesterday. I think you may be reading too much into that one.

However, I do think the April 1st date is significant because I believe they will send out acceptances until that date.

OK so my daughter received her acceptance e-mail yesterday. She is on top of the moon. BUT dont give up hope if you have not heard yet… for those of you waiting…I called last week and spoke to Admissions as well as the Financial aid offices. The ladies there said that they are trying to get all the e-mails out by April 1st. So I really think they are sending the e-mails out in waves.

The only sure way is to call the Admissions office and ask.
They are very nice and you can call anonymously.
Good Luck to all! :)

My friend called admissions first thing in the morning today and they told her there’s no way they couldve sent out all decisions yesterday and that the rest will pobably go out today. Best of luck guys

Ok that makes me feel better. Thanks for all the info guys :-)

Waitlisted. Feel so thankful to not be outright rejected but having to wait until June to find out if i got in stinks. Still better than being rejected though :)

Yes, D waitlisted, too. Better than being rejected!

rejected :-(

Sorry to hear Kirsten. You can always try the transfer route.
