<p>SAT I 690 W, 680 M, 590 CR, yeah,i just suck at it:) SAT 2 740 German, 700 Bio Eco, Math I 670, 267 TOEFL, I come from the Czech Republic, but I live in Austria alone (a boarding bilingual school,then a fully Austrian school + currently an international school) since I'm 12.....also doing the IB Diploma....how about you? I think I have a little problem with the oxy application - I've sent them the certificate of finances few weeks ago but on the application status it's still not marked as received!!! (but they've got my ISFA)</p>
<p>well...whenever this happens to me i mail them......you should email them as soon as possible and keep on mailing at regular intervals of 12 hours.....and btw, i didnt get any usernme /password for checking my application status online or anything....i just got a mail saying that they have received all my materials and that my application was ready for reviewing......
anyways....u can fax them too...fax is always more efficient......make a cover letter that will be like any formal letter and mention there that you have attached with your letter the certificate of finances and you have mailed the hard copy too.....tell them to use the faxed version for the record and say-- i assure that this is a faxed copy of a perfect copy of the original paper copy that you will receive by mail eventually.....</p>

<p>hey i just recieved an email from lehigh and i just want to scream and spread out all my angeeeeer. Nevertheless they want me to email them back and tell them that i am able to support the 4 academic years of study at lehigh and then they will "reevaluate" my application. I am so desperate that i have nothing to do except that. But if wnyone knows, do they usualy admit students when they ask them to do such a thing and write very nice words in a rebuttal letter like mine?</p>

<p>I asked for nearly everything... only agreed to pay $3000. On hindsight, perhaps I should have pledged more... maybe get a loan outside or something. waitlisted at colby also... and not expecting to hear good news anymore coz colby is supposedly one of the easiest colleges to get into among those that i've applied... </p>
<p>at least u got into mt. holyoke! congrats!! well i dun think they will be too stingy... if i recall correctly from my finaid research, it's one of the most generous schs!</p>
<p>well the weird thing is.. i got into colby last year with the same application.. infact this year my SAT scores have tremendously improved.. i did not enroll last year n decided to take a year off.. n this year they waitlisted.. upsetting after last years acceptance</p>

<p>That is tremendously strange of Colby! Maybe they're unsure if you would attend this year, too? Or maybe it's that whole "If I had applied a few years later, I don't think I would've gotten in" thing that's so prevalent about WUStL and other schools that are getting great number of applications from "bright kids"?</p>
