God I hate how I make such stupid math mistakes.

Norvasc, the best thing you can do for reading is get lucky (questions with vocab that you know). For me reading is the hardest, but the thing that has helped me the most is that I read a lot (usually for ~20-30min before I go to bed, and stuff like the new york times on weekends when I have time).

Also, don’t you think that with a 2360 on the SAT you wouldn’t really need an ACT? I just got a 2380 on my first try and I’m not even going to bother considering the ACT personally.

I usually ace the sentence completions, and honestly, I thought the passages on this SAT were easier than the PSAT. I’m satisfied, and I won’t retake it. Beyond a certain threshold, it doesn’t really matter except for bragging rights. As for the ACT, I live in MS, where everyone takes the ACT. But ya I have a 2360, so I’m pretty much Ivy League Bound now. yay!

@Studyhard12

I got a raw score of 77 and a 10 on the essay :3 It’s weird - my score wouldn’t have changed if I’d gotten an 11 on the essay.

Totally excited about my scores… 2290, up from 2040 in March. Studying does help people.

Hey guys, can I ask a question? About the superscoring thing. My college does allow it, but I didn’t choose scores when i put the order in on collegeboard. They weren’t out yet. Will they get automatically the highest scores or will they see the lower ones too?

First time taking it :]

@perazziman: When I got a 212 on the PSAT, I received a 61 on the math section. So my SAT math scores are roughly in the proper range, but it’s still such a large difference.

Critical Reading: 790

In am incandescently happy about this!
170 point score increase from the first time I took it!
And I’m really excited because as an African American Female, a lot of people told me that breaking even the 1350/1600 mark would be difficult for me because statistically AA’s do worse on the test than all other races…
IN YOUR FACES!

2300 composite: 700 M/800 W(80 m/c, 12 essay)/800 CR. It figures that I want to do something math/science related though, lol. I’m a junior, and this was my first time, so I’ll probably be retaking it in the winter. Congrats to all of you on your amazing scores! (:

Haha same except i got 730 in math. you did well dude. but shoot for 800m

What happens if your scores go down? I took it three times… went up the first retake, went down the second. Was hoping to increase my reading score.

oh, btw my superscore is 2150. 800 writing, 700 math, 650 cr

I guess the SAT is a game for the gifted.I was satisfied at first and even thought that i would never take this energy-sucking(at least for me)exam again, but now,I think I can kiss my ivies goodbye.I’m already a junior now,and i basically wasted my whole 10th grade.I have to find a good cause for my american dream
P.S.My SAT teacher said that there’re only 6 people from mainland China have gotten a 2400 since 21st century,so Chinese aren’t the exam-enablers as described…
