I’m really interested in several NESCAC schools, and I’m wondering how open the Bowdoin campus community is to people with strong religious beliefs. Is it open and welcoming? Skeptical? Hostile? How would you characterize life at Bowdoin for a religious person?

this is an old thread, but I also want to hear an answer for this…I am a Christian student and I’ve seen Bowdoin Christian Fellowship fb pages and stuffs, but I’ve also seen articles about christian club having become off-campus club due to certain school policies…is it ostracized? Is the religious scene nearly nonexistent? Answers plz…
I am also curious about this! Any current students (or alumni) have answers?
Two of the three kids to went to Bowdoin from my S’s school this year were children of Presbyterian ministers and were themselves active in their churches. I don’t believe religion is ostracized on campus.
