religion

in my high school career, i've logged almost 400 hrs in a catholic youth group. the group is something very truly important to me and i put it into my application as the one true passion i have in my life. therefore, i was wondering if this catholic affiliation will help me in admissions to Villanova. they are a religious affiliated university so i was wondering how much benefit this could yield in the process.

some stats.........

college of arts and sciences

sat:
m/v 590/700

GPA: 3.1
this GPA doesn't take into account the fact that my high school is competitive and well respected. sending 85% of graduates to 4 year schools.

course load:
2 regents
1 honors spanish course
4 college semester courses through Syracuse University

seems like you're STATs are decent. i think being roman catholic helps because we have student masses every sunday and students are very active in both religious and non-religious activities. being active helps. however, i'm sure alot of students are catholic, i'm not sure if that's a BIG push.
