Religious ECs for a non-religious school?

Do colleges without any religious affiliation care about ECs that have to do with religion? For example, if I was in campus ministry club or sang in my church choir, would non religious schools care?

If it’s important to you, it’s important to admissions.

Having multiple church activities on their applications certainly didn’t hurt the two of mine who chose secular schools.

It also doesn’t seem to hurt those at the high school where I work.

It’s common for kids to be active in various religious things. If colleges started to discriminate against it, they’d be closing the doors on oodles of students.

Yes, of course they care. It shows how you participate in your community, and lets them know more about you.
