Remote Lot

Ok, so the name is self-explanatory. I have no intention of using my car to drive around campus. But how bad is it to get to your car for a simple trip to Wal-Mart or the like? There wouldn't happen to be a bike rack anywhere around the area so one could ride their bike back and forth to their car would there?

remote lot isnt in the middle of nowhere, its closer to the freshmen quad then the athletic center, on the short side of a ten minute walk. its mostly a mental thing, it seems like a big pain to walk there in the snow or when youre setting comfy in your room, so most people complain.

Ok, that makes it seem a lot more reasonable. I really don't mind that much, especially if it's free. When I was on campus for the tour people made it sound as if it was a mile away! lol

The south lot is the closer to the freshman quad than the athletic center.

The remote is much farther as it is a 7-10 minute walk from the athletic center.

sorry for the wrong info, ive only had the joy of using south lot, so thats what popped into my head when i read remote lot.

dont worry abt going to the remote lot to get your car. Security gives you rides every hour to the remote lot if you want to get to your car. Another call and they will pick you up from the lot and drop you to your dorm.

The remote lot is definitely a ways away from the KAC. It can be a long, horribly painful walk in the winter. Security will drop you off, but be warned that they sometimes are really grumpy about it, and they tend to not like if you bring passengers with you.
