Renewable and sustainable energy and engineering programs

I’m a junior Civil Engineering major at a state university and I’m interested in graduate programs in renewable and sustainable energy and engineering.

I’m learning that there are numerous programs in the states (Penn State, UNV-Reno others) but several in Europe, especially northern Europe, Sweden, Norway, Denmark.

Does anybody have any knowledge of said graduate programs and/or the job market with such a degree?
