Report and submit AP scores to Georgetown?

What I read from Georgetown’s Admission is that they recommended 3 subject tests and you can use AP scores to substitute.

My D has sent in SAT, SAT and 2 subject test (Math2 and Bio) scores. Should she report and send in AP scores also ? Unless I’m wrong, we have to send all AP scores and there is not an option to send one selective score.

Thanks

You’re wrong. The all scores policy does not apply to AP.

If the scores strengthen the application, send. If they don’t, don’t.

And at the risk of stating the ibvious, if you report 2 Subject Tests, the 3rd AP needs to be from a different area. IOW, APUSH and a USH subject test counts once.

@skieurope

Thank you for a quick reply. My assumption was, from College Board, there isn’t an option to send individual AP score. I went in CB and was not successfully choosing an AP score to send.

She took 8 AP exams so far with the following scores:

US History (4), Government (5), World History (5), Cal BC (5), Statistic (5), Physics (5), Biology (5) and Eng Comp (3).

With a 3 for English Comp., we are trying not to report it if possible.

Thanks

You can’t send just one score via the CB, but you can withhold a score for a price. Personally, I think it’s a waste of money and one 3 will not torpedo an application.
