REPORT: Sarah Palin Won't Talk to Media

She is either scared or hiding something. prob a little of both

Poor media
They must feel like they are owed an interview by her
HA :D

Who does she think she is, Cat Stevens or something? She’s the VP nominee. She can’t be a recluse.

Jon Stewart is not the press. He’s a comedian. If you want him to stop making fun of your party, stop giving him such ample ammunition. Or better yet, try to do the impossible and find a funny and creative conservative comedian.

Essentially, to Republicans, you’re a dirty biased journalist if you dare to ask questions about Sarah Palin that do not involve hockey momism and moose.

???
Give her some time to learn some basic campaigning and foreign policy ropes. She’ll learn fast  Why humiliate her when she can be polished? It’s not as if Obama’s any different, the man is a textbook case of encyclopedic intelligence. She has exhibited dynamic wisdom and courage. Given the same knowledge, she would do better.

uhhhh fo real?

This is VP, it’s amazing how much you’re scrutinizing the bottom of the ticket. How about Obama? So, what, as a leader that is expected to make executive decisions, deal with budgets, be the commander in chief, etc., we expect a president to have relevant experience with all aspects of the title? Even as Obama has traveled with advisors, he’s still made many wrong judgments.

Denying the surge should have ever happened because we needed a “new strategy”, yet this strategy has reduced violence by 90%. Asked today if it’s a success, he says yes, but still wouldn’t do it??? Does he care about reality or does he want to do things the “right” way?

Pugfug30’s blatant hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty cannot be more on display than this statement here. Obama is an empty suit, while Palin shouldn’t be questioned or interviewed because she can learn on the job. Yeah. And putting smiley faces everywhere like some tweener girl talking to her crush doesn’t put a mask on your ugly bias.

McCain’s VP is no ordinary VP. It’s like being the backup QB to a starter who has had 5 concussions, a broken leg, and two torn ACLs.

Pugfug - terms of service on CC do not allow you to link to blogs.

You post enough that I am sure you are aware of this.

How do you define “blog”? Many blogs are informational sites that present news in a linear fashion as opposed to the traditional linkorama fest.

Xanga was what CC had in mind I believe.

If she is so tough and smart and experienced, why are they hiding her. Fear? More secrets? Its already like a Jerry Springer show right now.

Obama’s been a national-level politician since 2004 with at least 3 major, possibly historic speeches. Yet some Americans feel like they just don’t “know” him.

Sarah Palin has been a national-level politician since a couple of weeks ago and has given only 1 big speech which was little more than a spiteful mockfest. Yet these same Americans who feel they just don’t “know” the Obamas, despite wide media coverage for over a year, think that they can “trust” Palin despite her complete avoidance of the media.

Hmm, I wonder why…

Maybe that’s his problem???

He flew from elite schools to the elite political establishment. He didn’t beat Alice Palmer on his own merits, he sued her off on some technicalities. He didn’t beat Hillary on his own merit, he used the Democratic establishment to destroy Hillary, punishing Hillary-leaning Michigan and Florida but not SC, IO, NH, NV. They did not punish Jimmy Carter, Pelosi for denouncing the dream ticket, but they are punishing Lieberman…when this man is a blue-eyed liberal on most issues, except the most important one of all, national security.

Sarah Palin has made things happen, called out the corrupt politicians entrenched with the oil industries, made happen a critical natural gas line that could never get done in decades, and Obama has passed some bill so that lobbyists couldn’t eat good stuff with the politicians. Lame.

^ As I understand it, she doesn’t believe that global warming is a man-made phenomenon. Given the scientific evidence to the contrary, and the significance of the issue, that’s more than enough for me not to take her seriously as a candidate. As for Obama being an “elitist,” good – I’ll take a Columbia/Harvard educated problem solver/1st term U.S. Senator to a mayor of a town of 9,000/governor of a state that is largely wilderness anytime.

I don’t believe that global warming is a man-made phenomenon either. The world was recently in an ice age and we go through these periods before. For us to just start to have science accurate to the microscopic just as short as have have and to extrapolate and say that it IS man-made without a precedent I think is misguided.

“I’ll take a Columbia/Harvard educated problem solver/1st term U.S. Senator to a mayor of a town of 9,000/governor of a state that is largely wilderness anytime.”

Hahahaha

Quote:

“Hahahaha”

Please apply to your response re global warming . . . even MCCAIN disagrees with you.

He earned his places at Punahou and Columbia and Harvard through scholarships and merit. But I suppose to you, it’s all because he was black. Does that make you feel better about yourself?

Used the Democratic establishment? Hillary had all the insider backing to start off the race before the people made their voices heard.

Florigan again? Hillary and Ickes both agreed to the rules, not to mention the fact that the Clintonites stacked Super Tuesday with big states like New York and California (an unprecedented move) in order to knock out Obama early, and they STILL lost. The four pre-Super states were given special permission to go first because they were supposed to represent four very diverse areas of the United States and to give the candidates some chance to expose themselves beyond mere name recognition.

Not at these extreme levels though. And I suppose it’s just a great liberal conspiracy that rises in the level of industrial emissions has triggered this unprecedented sharp rise in global temperature?

??
Like I said, I’d prefer a mayor/governor over an aloof elitist, mmkay?

The Democratic party was never behind Hillary. Pelosi hated her, Carter hated her, Reid hated her. The blacks turned their backs on her, Richardson betrayed her, yeah, some insider advantage right. The inside turned the wife of one of the most successful and popular presidents ever into one of the most hated faces of America.

Again, you liberals miss the point. Arguing about details rather than the big point. WHO CARES about Hillary? I was arguing about how Palin and McCain are independent of their party while Obama has used it to get in (Alice Palmer), get by (Rezko), and stay in (DNC and Dean, who only recognized sexism against Hillary after primaries lol)

I don’t think we’re living in extreme times. Just recently, Gustav barely blew by. The human race will be alright for a couple thousand years, sans nuclear warfare. These days, there are reports of record temperatures and records of record cool years. As someone that doesn’t subscribe religiously to science, I have figured that it is an insignificant issue to place an issue on.

That must be why she had the most superdelegates and funds prior to Obama’s rise after Iowa.

You mean the man who voted with Bush 90% of the time, and the woman who dutifully follows the party’s doctrine on social issues and the bridge to nowhere (before she was against it)? Pre-2004 McCain had some independence to him, but not anymore.

Aloof elitist? Why, because he’s smarter and more eloquent than either you or me? Maybe if you had some prospects on the horizon, you wouldn’t feel the bitter desire to tear others down.

The hypocrisy of Palin is just hilarious. She is completely against abortion and supposedly conservative. Apparently she can juggle five kids with her job. But wait, isn’t her 17 year old daughter pregnant with the baby of some self-proclaimed “****ing redneck”. I feel sorry for the guy…forcing him to appear at the RNC was bogus.

Palin is the biggest mistake McCain ever made pugfug

Oooh wee, against abortion, what a crazy person! Conservative, scary! It’s really funny, that you say she’s proven that she can’t do the job because her daughter’s pregnant. Funny I think.

I’d disagree.

Well, I’m sure McCain’s made bigger mistakes.
