Just in case you were wondering, I'm taking the SAT for magnet admissions. Average SAT score there is in the 1900's so I have a way to go.

Sorry hahajiyun125, the NMS competition is only for students in the US.

^ i know. just wondering of my score is in the range

66 CR 77 M 70W

I made a STUPID mistake on math...sigh...could have gotten 80... T_T

229- 75M 78R 76W.
Really irritated I got that one math question wrong. That was five points right there, because the curve sucks.

I have a question for those of you who missed one math and got 5 points taken off. Highland daughter missed one math question and got 3 points taken off, she took the test on Wed. and the question she missed was a medium one.

So for those of you who missed on on math and got -5 points, which day did you take the test? What type of question did you miss? Thanks! :)

HMom

164.

Obviously I am 60 points off everyone on here. But, I am okay with the grade. Going into the test, I knew what I needed to work on. The grade reflects that.

Aligning it to the SAT Scores - I am getting 1700s. Not shabby or short of my goal of 1900+.

UGH! Critial reading destroyed me.
59 CR 85 %tile
71 M 97 %tile
70 W 98 %tile

Overall - 200.
96% Percentile

HMom- I took the test on Saturday, I believe the math curve is harder for Saturday takers. And I missed one of the non-multiple choice ones (forgot the official term).

grid-in response I believe?

181

(59 cr, 54 m, 68 w)

my school doesn't give us the results until february.

My (junior) sister got a 209! :)

65 CR, 74 M, 70 W.

I'm really proud of her -- I think she had about the fifth highest score, and there are several smart kids in her class.

I got a 176.
64 CR, 54 M, 58
I suck at math.

Two people from my school got 240. It was amazing...

You owned me at reading.

And plus, um, as I've said on another thread, I think that these tests have nothing to do with intelligence (I couldn't say anything before because I've never personally seen a SAT-w/e type of problem once).

It's honestly just paying attention carefully, getting a bit lucky (sometimes), and a few test taking quirks...it's filling in a couple bubbles.

Odd, some "smart kids" at my school with straight A's got like below 190 and a couple "non-smart" kids like myself and a few of my friends busted out 200+ minimum. I honestly don't think this deals with intelligence, because then, that'd be sad I think even someone like myself can bust out a 240 if I tried.

everybody got a 240 at my school...
