I have a question for those of you who missed one math and got 5 points taken off. Highland daughter missed one math question and got 3 points taken off, she took the test on Wed. and the question she missed was a medium one.

So for those of you who missed on on math and got -5 points, which day did you take the test? What type of question did you miss? Thanks! :)

Obviously I am 60 points off everyone on here. But, I am okay with the grade. Going into the test, I knew what I needed to work on. The grade reflects that.

Aligning it to the SAT Scores - I am getting 1700s. Not shabby or short of my goal of 1900+.

HMom- I took the test on Saturday, I believe the math curve is harder for Saturday takers. And I missed one of the non-multiple choice ones (forgot the official term).

And plus, um, as I've said on another thread, I think that these tests have nothing to do with intelligence (I couldn't say anything before because I've never personally seen a SAT-w/e type of problem once).

It's honestly just paying attention carefully, getting a bit lucky (sometimes), and a few test taking quirks...it's filling in a couple bubbles.

Odd, some "smart kids" at my school with straight A's got like below 190 and a couple "non-smart" kids like myself and a few of my friends busted out 200+ minimum. I honestly don't think this deals with intelligence, because then, that'd be sad I think even someone like myself can bust out a 240 if I tried.
