Reporting multiple AIME scores

<p>MIT gives slots for reporting 2 AIME scores.
What I'm curious about is, what are the advantages of reporting two scores, versus reporting only your best score? Are they looking for consistency or improvement?</p>

<p>I'm guessing it shouldn't really matter, but I don't understand why they ask for 2 scores, unlike something like the SAT where they superscore.</p>

<p>If I had to guess, they give two spots because too many people asked why they couldn’t report two. :slight_smile: Don’t overthink it – they’re not “looking” for anything in particular.</p>
