<p>Well, our school is really bad teacher wise, as they have about a 10% pass rate. The only classes with a good pass rate are APUSH with around a 70-80% pass rate, and spanish has a 100% pass rate [all the people who take it speak spanish fluently, so yeah]. </p>
<p>I took AP Bio freshman year and I got a 4 on it. I took AP Euro and Calc AB this year, and I expect to do well on them. I know about half my euro class passed, but I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one who passed calc out of around 22 people. In my ap bio class, it was me and this girl out of 20 kids who passed. I was wondering if it's possible to report these percentages in the score report, and if I did, if it would help or no?</p>
<p>Some high schools may show the pass rates on AP tests on the school report that they send to colleges. I would ask your counselor to find out for sure.</p>
<p>She said that I have the option to, but I was wondering whether or not I should actually choose to show the percentages. Would in benefit me, or is it irrelevent.</p>
<p>Uh, I think it would help as long as your scores are good, because it shows that you were able to do well on a test whose preparation is supposed to come mainly from the class, when the class wasn't that good.</p>
<p>Also, how much does "poor academic preparation" hurt you if you have no choice in which school you go to, and are taking the most challenging curriculum at your school?</p>
<p>Yeah, I should have actually read the entire OP and seen that the OPer got a 4. I thought, from the first paragraph, that he was trying to blame his low score on an AP on poor teaching. Mea culpa.</p>
