I got this letter too.
I think the forms they're requesting are just their standard supplement to the FAFSA

Thanks rschlegel420!! ok good to know - cause the forms they were requesting from were very specific documents that biological dad had yet to submit. Are you ED or RD?

I got similar letter from several schools, asking for verification worksheet and tax forms. Most schools told me they will need the info before aid can be disbursed, but I will still get a tentative/estimated aid package, pending verification that my FAFSA or Profile matched the returns.

Yeah mine were from my mom (my parents are divorced)
I am RD....waiting impatiently...

I got one too…I wonder if that can possibly mean good news with my decision? I saw from last year’s posts that the people who got financial aid requests this late were ultimately accepted. Hopefully that will be the same for us…but I rather just take it as nothing just so I do not get my hopes crushed.

Hoping and praying that is the outcome!!

Yeah, I just got one today…so I have no idea why they would send out a request when decisions are already made. I heard on this board that the Admissions Office sends out a list of people who are accepted to the Fin Aid office to some schools, and then the Fin Aid office sends out requests if there is any missing material.

Anyway…hopefully it is good news! I got rejected from Duke yesterday so I need a little bit of good news. Good luck everyone!!

Not sure if it did mean anything but I was accepted and got the letter!

I haven’t received a letter. Does that mean they have all my stuff?

Yes. I assume so hilsa.

I think I have come to the conclusion that 99% of the time, if a college requests Financial Aid information with 2 weeks of decisions, then you’re most likely accepted. I had a request for more Fin Aid information from 3 OOS schools the last 2 weeks, and I got accepted to all 3 of them. The other three that I was waitlisted/rejected, I received no request.
