Hello, I am an american citizen who's currently an undergraduate at a Romanian University(I've finished middle school and high school here) and I would like to study in the U.S.

I am planning on enrolling as a freshman or as a transfer student; either way I will take the SATs. I want to apply at Stanford,UC Berkeley,UCLA,University of Chicago and Pomona college, but before that I would like to ask a few questions.

Do I stand a chance if I only have good a SAT score and a nice essay?

Is it easier to apply as a freshman or as a transfer student?

If i'm regarded as a domestic student ,but evaluated as an international one,can this be considered an advantage?

Regardless of my chances i'm still going to try and apply, so be as harsh as you can.
If there are any questions regarding my academic performance or anything else don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you,

I understand that everyone wants to find out their chances , but can I at least get one post?

Can anyone tell me what I should post, so I can get some information?

U have to apply as a transfer, u dont have an option to apply as freshman. I cant say anything since u havent really given anything. US colleges have holistic admissions, as in they look waaayy beyond test scores and gpa

You can apply as a freshman if you wish. You simply need to ask formal permission from admissions and you will only receive a maximum of two credits toward your Pomona graduation though.

BTW: good luck! Pomona is a fantastic school.

I’m also white, muslim, and born in California? is this stuff relevant when I will apply?
