Does NMSF require that all scores be sent in (I took the SAT twice), or can I just send in my highest score?

My son sent only his highest.

I’ll do that then, thanks.

I am taking the SAT this Saturday. As soon as I get that score back I will send it or an older one…whichever ends up being highest.
I figure that if they will take scores up until the and including the Dec. SAT, we have a little time to decide which score to send (I hope!).

As long as you have a score over 1960 after subtracting effect of essay, you can send it now. You won’t need a higher score to make NMF.

If you are thinking of getting the NMSC scholarship, I’m almost positive that the test score is not so important in their decision of who gets those. My D had a higher test score than all but one of the 4 kids at our school who got the scholarship last year. They all had 4.0 and lots of hard classes, like my D, though they all were at least in MVcalc, while she was in BC. What distinguished them is the holistic stuff. They had multiple interests and activities: student government, sports, student rep to school board, won a couple concerto competitions, Siemens winner, award winners at Latin competitions, forensics, math competitions, etc. Probably wrote strong essays too. D had lots of ECs, but all music, not the range of stuff these kids threw themselves into, nothing competitive except auditioning for bands and orchestras, and I doubt D’s essay was anything special.
